Super 8 by Wyndham Algona

Needs an update for a few items like towels, bedding, A/C unit and the carpet. The manager does an awesome job making sure your room is clean and has fresh towels daily! Manager also is very friendly and will help with anything you need. Good WIFI and TV.

Sarah has been professional and provided exceptional customer service. She went over and beyond to fix any issues that needed to be rectified. I give her five stars. I highly recommend this place if you want quality customer care.

The room was nice and comfortable, I didn’t have any problems there whatsoever! The service was absolutely amazing!!! The manager was so sweet as were the other workers I had talked to! The town is a little small but still has food places and some places to go! It was a comfortable stay!

Although I did plan to stay at this hotel. I did find another super 8 location closer to my travel path. And even though I had originally booked the room, inadvertently, through Expedia, the manager at the algona location was able to help me cancel my reservation. I had already spent an hour trying to cancel the reservation through Expedia and had absolutely zero success. So while I give the manager at the super 8 in algona five out of five stars, I give Expedia a -10 out of five stars. I cannot respond to staying at the hotel, but I can tell you that the manager was extremely helpful

I am being here for 4 days so far , is very clean and upgraded, feels like a 5 ⭐ Hotel. The room are very clean and have a good clean smell. The manager have very good costumer service skills and she is very kind, only 1 thing I did not like ..is not breakfast. ⭐ Is a Great Restaurant by the side. 5 De Mayo restaurant , really good authentic Mexican food. Yum! Try the Mexican steak , is so good.

Stayed a week. Room was very clean and comfortable. New management (Marco and Shan) are doing a great job

It was an older yet well-kept property. Was probably built in the late 70s, but it was quite clean, being that I've stayed at hotels recently built (2010's) that were not clean, so new isn't always better. There is no breakfast beyond muffins and coffee but for the nightly rate, you can't complain. The only issue I had was that the hot water was SUPER HOT -- a great thing for washing linens & towels and I'm glad that they are washing things on HOT rather than cold which seems to be a trend these days (I personally NEVER wash on cold, it's a bad idea and unsanitary), but not so much for showering, washing hands, etc. I'm assuming that must have one big water heater shared between their laundry and the rooms...rather than separate water heaters for the rooms and their washing machine. I spent a few minutes finding a non-scalding temperature when taking a shower. Other than that, the stay was nice and uneventful. The lady at the front desk was pleasant and helpful as well.

this place is rlly cool if u wanna stay for vacations,services were good I was totally satisfied with the management nd the manager will always be ready to help you out if you’re facing any issue
